Lily Pie at 17 months!

Lily is now 17 months, I can't believe how fast it's all going.

Her personality is SO crazy now! Me and Mike are loving every second of it. her favorite things right now are "ings" Lily talk for swings. She could stay on those things for hours, haha. She is adventures, spunky and knows what she wants. Which also means I am tired by 3pm most days and she has thrown at least 2 fits by the time her daddy gets home. (on a good day! ha) Her fits are not terrible, normally only last about a minute then she realizes I am not paying attention to it, but sometimes... oh lord. She is in the headbutting, or banging her head on the floor, table, or what ever is close stage. Any advice on what has worked for other moms when it comes to those nasty toddler fits is welcome!

Her vocabulary is soaring. I sware she learns a new word every day. her newest are..

her daddy is by far her favorite person, and she loves to try and push me into giving him a hug and then come join us. it melts my heart when she wants us all to cuddle together!

She is still over the moon about books, and still loves her stuffed animals and blankets. Animals are also high on her list. she loves cats, cows, doggies and ducks the most right now.

She was looking at the cows at the zoo and going " moooo"

She is 25 pounds and still in size 4 diaper.

She wears anything from 18 months to 24 months cloths and even some 2T stuff.

She now will point to my belly and say baby, though I know she has no comprehension that an actual baby is in there.

Speaking of babies, any child under 5, she calls a baby.

I am the LUCKIEST mom. Period.

This would be the longest post ever if I took the time to write down everything amazing about her, even on our hardest days, there is nothing like having such a sweet child. She is just perfect!

Lily at 15 months old!

My sweet girl is 15 months old today! She is seriously the most fun, happy, lovey toddler  baby ( shes still my baby!) ever! She just makes me so happy. Me and mike are just amazed by her everyday. She is growing into such a beautiful, spunky girl and I thank God for her everyday.

Her vocabulary has expanded so much and she understands things so well!

her most common ones are Momma and Dada and hi rye rye. I hear that ALL DAY LONG she loves her doggies, and they love her too!

She is so sweet and loves to be outside.

Speaking of outside, she had her first real visit to the beach. As you can tell by the look of serious concern on her face, it may take a few more trips to get her to warm up to it! ha

She is wearing 18 months- 24 month cloths

still in size for diapers. 

She take 1-2 naps a day, sometimes she skips one, and just takes one around noon, but some days she takes one at 11 and around 3:30. For about an hour 15 Min's- 2 hours.

Still sleeping from 8pm-8:30am. I love her for this! ha ha

She is very dependent on her baby, "Ba Ba" and her blankie. sleeps with them every night and cuddles them it's very cute!

and yup, she still sucks those fingers.

She is eating well and loves veggies and fruit.

she can point to her nose, eye, ear, hair, belly button and neck when you ask her where they are. 

she LOVES books. She almost always has one in her hand and loves to babble as she flips through the pages. She also loves to sit in your lap and have you read to her.

She is so precious and I feel so lucky everyday!

Back from the bloggy-dead.

I'm back. After almost 2 months of no blogging I finally have time for it again. Add up severe morning all day sickness, pregnancy exhaustion, Christmas, vacation, planning a certain some one's FIRST BIRTHDAY... it all equals no blogging. But I have lotssss to catch up on. First.. We will start with Lily's 11 month up-date. Hey, she is still 11 months for a few more days, so I'm not too late.

Lily, at 11 months your growing SO fast. Mommy and daddy can hardly keep up.

You weigh somewhere around 21-22 ish pounds, we will know for sure next Tuesday.

You wear 12 month cloths, and some 18 month also

You are in size 3 or 4 diaper

You can speed crawl like no one's business

You stand up on everything, walk with your push toys or with our hands, but refuse to do it on your own. You'd rather crawl if there is somewhere you want to go, guess it's faster.

You say lots of words, mama, Dada, hi dog, bye bye, hi, hey, and love to make noises with your mouth.

Still going to bed at 8pm and sleeping until 8:30-9am

Still 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

You love your doggies. always kissing and hugging them

speaking of kissing, it's probably one of your favorite things to do. Any stuffed animals or baby dolls, you just smother them with your love! it's so sweet!

Still drinking about 2 bottles a day, but you have cut out all baby foods and prefer the real stuff. Mac n Cheese and breads seem to be your favorite right now.

 you love attention, you just light up when people talk to you.

You have become so cuddly, and we are soaking up every minute. Sometimes, you just crawl up to us and lay in our arms, me and daddy just adore it.

You still suck your fingers like CRAZY. 

You are so smart and learn something new every day. you love to mimic sounds I make and just the other day you picked up your shoe and went to put it on your foot, all by yourself! 

You shot up in height, take after your daddy there.

you are so giggly, and happy and we are so thankful we get to be your parents. Can't believe your just days away form being one!

My butterball is 9 months old!

Lily is 9 months old! as of Saturday! I waited until today to do her post because she had her well baby appointment and I wanted to include that in her post.

keeping my phone out of her mouth is a never ending job.

So here is what my little girl is up to

She weighs 19 lbs 4 oz (61st)

She is 28 1/2 inches tall (81st) she takes after her daddy here!

She is still in size 3 diapers and is wearing 9 month sized cloths. 

 She can fit into 12 months sleepers and pj's

She has been crawling for about 2 weeks now

She has pulled up to a standing position on her own

She loves to clap and pat her hand against her mouth while she is making noise.

She loves when I sing to her

She is still sleeping well, goes down between 8-8:30 and wakes up between 8:30-9

She takes two 1-1.5 hr naps a day.

She is beginning to develop some sass, she knows what she wants.

She LOVES food and she like to feed herself.

She has really taken an interest in animals. she loves to watch and touch our dogs, and she like to do the same with my moms kittens.

She has become a finger sucker!

She is starting to cling onto me sometimes when she is a little uncomfortable, I love that I make her feel safe! luckily, she warms up when people talk to her and say her name.

8 Months!

Miss Lily Elizabeth is 8 months old today. I just can't get time to slow down. 

I have been finding so many blogs that involve sick babies/ children, or babies that have passed. I am just SO thankful for Lily's health. Each day with her is the best day of my life and I truly treasure each day. Me and her daddy are just so blessed to be able to call her ours :)

Lily is a wild women these days! she is so spunky and full of energy.

She still thinks looking at herself in the mirror is about the coolest thing ever.

She is still in size 3 diapers, and wearing 6 month cloths. I did try on some of her 9 month outfits though, and they are close to fitting.. probably within a few weeks. Hopefully, because they are so darn cute and I can't wait for her to wear some of them ;)

She is always making these cheesy smiley faces and I love each and every one!

She can stand on her own if she is holding onto something Like her crib, or the box from her diapers. She had a BLAST with that box today, haha that's what I call cheap entertainment.

She WILL NOT crawl. I started to worry but the doctor said she is fine and she will do it when she is ready. She does roll around everywhere though so maybe she is just cool with that. She has started to move onto her knees from a seated position now, so I do think she is getting closer.

She has been sleeping wonderful for mommy and daddy. Still going to bed between 8-8:30 and waking up between 8-9. it's heaven.

She still also takes two 1-1.5 hr naps a day. A morning and afternoon one.

She loves baby food but has really been itching for some big people food. She loves chicken and potato's, peas, fruits, and anything really! This kid surely can eat!

She is at SUCH a fun age and I am really loving it. She has taking an interest in cartoons, so far handy Manny and Mickey mouse clubhouse are her favs.

She gets cuter every stinkin' day!

She LOVES sticking her tongue out.

Lily.. you are the most joyous, happy, delightful baby.

My sweet pea is 7 months old!

Seriously?! slow down. Lily is 7 months old as of Monday. I'm a little late with my post, Like always.

 This is SUCH a fun age, and although I miss my sweet 5 lb baby, I am loving the fun I am able to have with her now. I am stunned that we are now closer to her 1st birthday, then the day she was born. It still feels like yesterday to me! She is growing, and discovering new things everyday and I enjoy playing with her, and singing to her and really... doing just about anything with her :)

Here's what My 7 month old is up doing these days..

• Lily Loves to be sung to, and anything That lights up or makes music.
• She is getting to the age where she likes to be tossed up, spun around in my arms or anything involving us playing with her. She is a dare devil baby and loves to be danced with and tossed around ( in a baby friendly way, haha)
• She is about 18 lbs
• She is wearing 6 month cloths and size 3 diapers still.
• She is sleeping through the night, but will have an occasional "off" night.
• She has really started to notice Bailey and Riley. She loves to feel their fur and gets kisses from them.
• She has discovered real food. She still has 3 jars of baby food a day along with cereal at 7 ish But she is reaching and begging for whatever me or Mike is eating. We have begun giving her little pieces.
• She is a total ham, and loves any attention she gets. She LIGHTS UP as soon as you say her name and flash her a smile.
• She thinks it's the coolest thing ever to check herself out in the mirror.
• She is really splashing during bath time, I usually end up soaked too.

Lily is the absolute best thing in mine and Mike's Life. I never knew how fulfilled my life could be.

This precious baby reminds me EVERYDAY why I wanted to be a mother so bad. 

6 months old! half a year!!

My Baby girl is 6 months old now! Oh my goodness!

( she was 6 months on the 13th, I'm late)

Things have gotten a little tougher in mommy land, she is much more fussy and just doesn't seem as happy. I'm not sure what's going on but to be honest, this is the first time that being a mom has really exhausted me. Our biggest issues are her eating habits have changed a lot. She is now not eating baby food or cereal, when she was chowing down before. I don't think it's a flavor thing because she has had tons and has been eating the baby food and cereal for almost 2 months now. She is also only eating 4 oz at random times and is off her day time schedule, besides naps, they have still been happening around the same time as normal. Our other issue is bed time. She used to go down SO easy. We would just lay her down after her night time feeding and bam she was out. Now she'll maybe eat 2 oz at bedtime the tosses and turns sometimes cries for 20 minutes or so. some nights we have to go up and rock her a little, some times she can just  fall asleep on her own. She isn't sleeping as well anymore, I'm assuming because maybe she isn't eating as much? But she is now waking up around 5:30 am then eating and going back to sleep until about 8. I am hoping it's just a phase that will soon pass.

Other than that she is moving and a shaking! she's so active. Here is the new things she's doing at 6 months old!

She is 16 lbs 10 oz (60th)

She is 26 inches tall ( 56th)

She is pretty much sitting up on her own

She is pushing up on her arms during tummy time but hasn't come up on her knees at all yet.

She loves toys that light up and make music.

She LOVES her feet and they are ALWAYS in her hands.

She is in size 3 diapers.

She loves when I sing patty cake. She always giggles :)

She has attempted a sippy cup, and high chair ( more about those in my next post.)

She is learning to throw little mini hissy fits. If a toy or something she wants is taken away she will start to cry. poor baby ha.

She also had her first water park adventure, I'll post about that soon!!

Lily is 5 Months old!

Today, My sweet little lady is 5 months old. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?! I can't believe next month we will be celebrating her half birthday. Lily is doing so many new and exciting things. 

 

• She can balance sitting up for about a minute, and then starts to fall, but she is getting better everyday.

• She is rolling over every time we put her on her back and almost always sleeps on her belly. it scares me to death, but I must say.. she does sleep a lot better on her belly.

• Speaking of sleep, she STILL, yes I said it, STILL doesn't sleep through the night. She will randomly do it about 2-3 times a week but its not permanent yet. I'm taking it with a grain of salt. I know when she is 18 I will long for one night when she wakes up and still needs me. 

•  She is SO giggly. Always cracking up. She was laughing so hard tonight that she was spiting her cereal every where!

• She loves the doggies, and loves when they bark.

• She thinks swimming and bath time are the coolest thing ever.

• She is still in size 2 diapers, but they are getting a little snug.

One thing is for sure. This Little girl has brought so much joy to my and mike's life. We are such lucky parents! :)

I have a 4 month old!

I still can't believe Lily is four months old today. It still feels like yesterday that I had her. Heck, I still feel like we just found out we were pregnant!

In the past two weeks Lily has become a completely different baby. She has grown so much!

Here's what my baby has been up too...

• She giggles! She has let out a few laughs here and there but now she is really giggling. My twin sister seems to be able to get them out the easiest.
• She is quite the talker. Always cooing and making noises, Sometimes it almost sounds as if she is yelling.
• Still not sleeping through the night, but we'll get there.
• She has a little tooth bud! we discovered it on Friday the 11th. it's her bottom right tooth that is coming through. It hasn't broken through yet, But I'm still excited! ( maybe this is why she isn't sleeping through the night)
• She is starting to hold onto things a lot more now. she loves a little pink rattle she has and grabs onto and holds my shirt, and loves to hold blankets.
• She is very responsive to people and loves attention. She almost always smiles back at you, when you smile at her.
• Today she almost rolled over. From her belly to her back. She got all the way over, she just couldn't bring her head all the way around. But  think within the next week or so she'll be a pro.

Being her mother for the past 4 month has been a true blessing. Me and Mike are so grateful to God for blessing us with this little lady:)

Lily is 3 months old today!

I can't believe it! my baby is  3 months! it's going by so fast and I am trying to treasure  each and every moment, smile, milestone and giggle.

She smiles like crazy! and is such a happy baby.

She is still waking up once during the night to eat, but it's only for about 30 minute so it's not too bad. Though i'm definitely looking forward to sleeping all night some day!

She is holding her head up on her own, and cooing so much! She makes the sweetest noises.

She loves bath time and i'm going to have to find a new bathtub solution. She is out growing her baby bath but i'm not sure i'm ready to put her in our bath tub yet... hmm guess we will see what I come up with.

She is such a joy and being a mother is every bit as wonderful as I had imagined, and so much more!

2 months! Already!!

My Little lady is 2 months old today. I can't believe it! feels like I just had her. I love seeing her personality coming out, but I feel like it's going by SO fast. She smiles amost every time I call her ' Lily Pie' and is now only waking up one time at night around 2 or 3 to eat!
