Mia's maternity photo shoot!

Once again, we had the best photographer do maternity photos for us. Katy Blevins always delivers the goods, and I am eternally thankful that just 3WEEKS after having twins she took the time out to take my photos. I was 37 weeks 6 days when she took them and though we rushed due to the devil mosquito's - I mean REALLY bad mosquito's! we got some great shots!

This one may be my favorite!

 Though I am feeling bigger than ever... and the 40 lbs I have put on ( double what I gained with Lily) make me feel less than " glowing"... these pictures make me feel so pretty during pregnancy. Even if my face is massive, ha.

Lily was more interested in the flowers and grass, but we managed to get a few with her also! can't believe she is about to be a big sister!

We can't wait to hold you in our arms miss Mia!

Lily turns ONE!

Last Sunday, my sweet girl turned one yeas old. Honestly, I feel insane when I say that. There is no way this year had already flown by... A year ago, this was our first family photo together.

Though I was totally out of it due to the devil itself - Magnesium sulfate

I can still remember the way I felt at that moment. It was a new beginning for me, for us, for our future. All I saw was this beautiful gift I was blessed with and I promised myself I wouldn't take a moment for granted.

This is the day of her birthday..

A year later, I still have those feelings, and I whole heatedly believe I have treasured every moment of this year. Sure, there has been rough parts but every moment of her first year has been the best moments of my life.

This photo shows her personality perfectly. She is so sweet and playful and a little bit spunky. When I was a young girl and thought of my life, she is exactly what I saw. 

She is such a fun, bright happy kid. I call this her "party mode" pose. ha ha.

I wish I was able to really put into words they way she makes me feel, the way being a mother makes me feel, and the way seeing my husband be a father makes me feel.. but that is something I just can't articulate well enough for it to truly come out right.

Lily's 6 month pictures!

On Saturday me and Mike took Lily to get her 6 month photos taken. We LOVE our photographer, Katy Blevins. She has photographed our wedding, maternity, Lily's newborn photo's and now these. If your in the Virginia Beach area, I definitely recommend her!

Lily was in SUCH A GREAT MOOD! She was so smiley and giggly. The girl loves attention, and knows what a camera is, and she was just tickled about being the center of attention. I love so many of them I'm having the hardest time picking which ones to frame!
